He made his senior debut in August and scored 15 goals last season for the Benfica team that won the Portuguese title.
He also made 6 appearances in Europa League last season and scored a hat-trick in the quarterfinal home leg against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 19-Year is also a current Portuguese international player having made his debut against Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League semi-final.
João Félix is a versatile forward who can play in both wings and in number 9 and 10 roles if needed.
Joao Felix is now the second-most expensive teenager following the 180m euros paid to Monaco by Paris St-Germain for France forward Mbappe in 2018.
The move comes amid rumors that Antoine Griezmann will leave the club this summer, with Barcelona expected to pay his buyout clause of 120m euros.
This may be considered as part of the rebuild as Diego Godín, Filipe Luís are also among the players who are being linked away from the club alongside French winger Antoine Griezmann
