Huddersfield Town signed ex-Leicester City, QPR, Newcastle United Right Back

Danny Simpson, the 32-year-old Right Back who was part of The Foxes Premier League winning side has signed with the club till the end of the season.

Simpson was with the club for the past few weeks and seems to have impressed Cowley brothers to warrant the contract.

This also comes amid poor performances from Florent Hadergjonaj at Right Back position. Many fans feel Danny Simpson will add more depth to that position.

Simpson is a Manchester United Academy product and has also had spells with Newcastle United, QPR and played for Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Sunderland, Royal Antwerp via a loan move from Man Utd.

Danny has a wealth of Premier League experience under his belt having played 213 games at top-flight level. He also made 97 appearances at Championship level.

Here is his first official interview as The Terriers player.

He was without a club since being released by The Foxes at the end of last season and has signed with the Terriers as a free agent till the end of the season.

Simpson had trail spell with West Brom at the start of the pre-season and most of the Huddersfield Town fans knew this move was close as he was on trial at the club since Cowley became the manager.
